I encourage Nevadans to support our small business community, so that we can continue to empower job creators and grow our local economy.\u201d BACKGROUND: According to the Small Business Administration, Nevada\u2019s small businesses employed over 450,000 people or 41.3% of the private workforce, in 2014. Ahead of Small Business Saturday, Congresswoman Rosen has cosponsored several bills to help Nevada businesses continue to prosper. Rosen recently co-sponsored the Veterans Job Opportunity Act, a bill that would establish a small business start-up tax credit for veterans who create businesses in underserved communities. Rosen also cosponsored the Small Business Cybersecurity Enhancement Act, bipartisan legislation to help small businesses obtain the resources needed to protect them from cyberattacks.
