The President\u2019s agenda has already\u00a0killed\u00a0thousands\u00a0of\u00a0good-paying jobs for American workers,\u00a0and this rule threatens to enhance the pain that so many of our neighbors feel,\"\u00a0said Congressman Rothfus. \" President Obama\u2019s out of touch hostility toward the middle class in America's energy heartland has already destroyed over 40,000 jobs in the coal industry alone, jeopardizing the futures of coal country families and communities. I will continue to fight this rule so that families in\u00a0our community\u00a0can\u00a0continue to live fulfilling lives unimpeded by unfair Obama Administration overreach.\"\u00a0\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tCongressman Rothfus previously\u00a0backed\u00a0the Supporting Transparent Regulatory and Environmental Actions in Mining (STREAM) Act (H.R. 1644), of which he was a co-sponsor.
