Labor received the Commonwealth's final documents on September 10. Meanwhile, many CW-1 employers have been waiting for approval of the survey to request a prevailing wage determination and apply for temporary labor certifications. The U.S. Workforce Act requirement that employers obtain certification that no U.S. worker is available before employers petition for a CW-1 worker went into effect last year. The Labor Department had approved the wage survey for 84 occupations by May last year. But this year's survey has been delayed, putting pressure on Marianas businesses already hurt by the coronavirus and still recovering from Super Typhoon Yutu.", 1, "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z", "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["https://sablan.house.gov/swift-wage-survey-review-requested"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 4.741566954180598, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
