The Lamoille Valley Rail Trail has been on the drawing board \u00a0for over a decade, and on Friday there was a ground-breaking ceremony in St. Johnsbury.\r\nFrom 1877 to 1994, \u00a0trains rumbled \u00a0through this \u00a0corridor between St. Johnsbury and Swanton. Now the railbed is \u00a0covered with weeds.
