Four years after sparking the Arab Spring, Tunisia remains the only country to have successfully evolved from authoritarian rule to a country based on a freedom and fairness for all.The achievements over the last year have laid the groundwork for a prosperous and democratic Tunisia. Congratulations to President-elect Beji Caid Essebsi on his victory,\u201d continued Schweikert.\n\n\u201cWhile many challenges lay ahead, I look forward to working with President-elect Essebsi and members of Tunisia\u2019s new government to address those challenges and forge a closer bond between our two countries.\u201d\n\n###\n\nCongressman David Schweikert co-founded the Congressional Tunisian Caucus in the summer of 2013 alongside Congressman Alcee L.
