Today we were able to discuss the positive development of biotechnology already in practice across the state. It is important that we continue to promote technologies that will create solutions for changing climate and growing population,\u201d said Congressman Schweikert.\n\n\u201cThank you to Congressman Schweikert for inviting me to join today\u2019s roundtable and explain the partnerships occurring across the state of Arizona to advance the agriculture industry. Agriculture in Arizona is a diverse, year-round, 23-billion-dollar industry, and advances in biotechnology will ensure we can continue to meet the needs of a growing population in a drier climate.
