Terri Sewell (AL-07) released the following statement regarding the release of the Government Accountability Office\u2019s (GAO) report to Congress which affirms the Air Force\u2019s decision to locate the U.S. Space Command headquarters in Huntsville, Alabama. The GAO\u2019s report follows the release of a report by the Pentagon\u2019s Inspector General which found that the process for selecting Huntsville was reasonable and complied with the law.\n\n\u201cThe GAO report to Congress confirms that Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama is the best place for the U.S. Space Command headquarters. From the very beginning, I have stood by the Air Force\u2019s decision to locate U.S. Space Command in the Rocket City.
