I am thrilled that the final package included crucial investments for New Mexicans, including pay raises for our active-duty military personnel, provisions to support veterans, and funding for new military installations in our state. While I remain deeply disappointed that funding for New Mexico\u2019s Downwinders was not included in this package, I won\u2019t stop fighting until they get the compensation and care they rightfully deserve.\u201d\n\nThe NDAA secures:\n\n- $1.79 billion for Los Alamos National Laboratory's ongoing research and development programs which support personnel, equipment, and other activities\n\n- $24 billion for the National Nuclear Security Administration which include Sandia National Laboratories which supports and sustains its system integration, engineering, and science programs\n\n- $276 million for environmental cleanup efforts at Sandia and Los Alamos National Laboratories\n\n- $5.5 million for White Sands Missile Range\n\n###", 1, "2026-03-30T01:40:41Z", "2026-04-08T01:14:16Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["https://stansbury.house.gov/media/press-releases/rep-stansbury-statement-national-defense-authorization-act"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 1.2067030183970928, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
