Stansbury. “The fear and uncertainty around losing SNAP benefits and access to food is overwhelming. That’s why I got to work immediately on legislation to protect SNAP and keep families from going hungry during the shutdown. I also heard from families terrified that their health insurance premiums will skyrocket next year unless Democrats keep fighting to protect affordable care.”

Rep. Stansbury continued,

“I’m heading back to Washington next week with a clear message: Democrats are showing up and fighting for the people. Health care, food security, and our economy are on the line—lives literally depend on it.”

###", 1, "2026-04-04T05:28:40Z", "2026-04-04T05:30:10Z
url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at
url
https://stansbury.house.gov/media/press-releases/stansbury-spends-week-connecting-thousands-new-mexicans-gop-shutdown-drags
