Greg Stanton announced $700,000 federal funds he secured to renovate Junior Achievement of Arizona\u2019s \u2018BizTown\u2019 Facility\u2014an engaging, hands-on program that introduces 4th, 5th, and 6th graders to economic concepts, workplace skills, and personal and business finances in a student-sized town built just for them.\n\n\u201cWhat makes Junior Achievement so special is their commitment to serving a diverse population of students, many of whom come from low-income households,\"said Congressman Greg Stanton. \u201cThey partner with more than 400 schools in Arizona, 50 of which are in my district. Providing funds for Junior Achievement to renovate and improve their facility is an investment in the future of Arizona\u2019s children, and this investment couldn\u2019t have come at a better time.\u201d\n\n\u201cThis funding from the government, that your team made possible, is huge for us. We are going to be able to use the $700,000 to upgrade parts of BizTown. It includes the technology, it includes the flooring.
