Not only is her lawsuit full of factual errors, it is also an obvious effort by DJI to distract from CBP\u2019s recent halting of DJI imports due to Uyghur slave labor concerns and a futile attempt to disrupt the momentum behind my unanimously passed Countering CCP Drones Act. DJI\u2019s time in the United States is rightfully coming to an end and Loretta Lynch\u2019s sham lawsuit is not going to save them.\u201d\n\nThe U.S. Department of Defense has certified multiple times that DJI presents legitimate national security risks and is a Chinese Military Company.\n\nIn August 2017, the U.S. Army halted the use of all DJI drones citing a risk of increased cyber vulnerabilities.\n\nIn July 2021, the Department of Defense stated that DJI systems pose a threat to U.S. national security and that mitigating the threats posed by DJI is a priority for the Department.\n\nIn October 2022, DJI was added to the Department of Defense\u2019s 1260H Chinese Military Company list because of DJI\u2019s role in advancing the modernization efforts of the People\u2019s Liberation Army.\n\nIn January 2024, the Department of Defense recertified DJI on its 1260H Chinese Military Company list.\n\n###", 1, "2026-03-30T01:40:41Z", "2026-04-07T21:57:20Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["https://stefanik.house.gov/2024/10/statement-on-former-obama-ag-suing-u-s-government-on-behalf-of-chinese-military-company-dji"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 0.6784121505916119, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
