Strong", "S001220", "strong.house.gov", "strong", "https://strong.house.gov/media/press-releases", "scraper", "WASHINGTON \u2014 Congressman Dale Strong, a member of the Appropriations Committee, highlighted committee passage of the Fiscal Year 2027 Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Bill, which includes two community project funding allocations for North Alabama.\n\n\u201cThis is an important first step toward delivering the resources our communities need to strengthen critical water infrastructure,\u201d said Congressman Dale Strong. \u201cNorth Alabama families deserve reliable, safe water systems, and I will keep working with my colleagues to push these projects across the finish line.\u201d\n\nThe funding, approved by the Appropriations Committee during Wednesday\u2019s markup, includes a total of $5,542,200 for critical infrastructure projects in North Alabama.\n\n$4,542,200 for the City of Moulton to make water treatment facility improvements\n\n$1,000,000 for the Town of Eva to upgrade its wastewater treatment plant\n\nThe Fiscal Year 2027 Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations bill now heads to the full U.S. House of Representatives for consideration.\n\nThis community project funding is part of Congressman Strong\u2019s ongoing effort to ensure North Alabama\u2019s residents receive their fair share of federal investments.\n\n\u201cI will never apologize for bringing your tax dollars back home to North Alabama.
