Each participating member of Congress worked alongside a bipartisan buddy to brew their beer, which highlights the nonpartisan nature of beer and helps strengthen the ties between members across the aisle.\n\nRepresentatives Lee and Joyce brewed up the \u201cErieLee Good Beer\u201d \u2014 a purple IPA to highlight the purple independent-mindedness of the constituents they represent in Nevada and Ohio.\n\n\u201cBipartisanship is a winner for many of our toughest issues, and it\u2019s no surprise that beer is no exception,\u201d said Congresswoman Lee. \u201cIt\u2019s an honor to once again work alongside my bipartisan buddy, Congressman David Joyce, to win the People\u2019s Choice Award at Anheuser-Busch's Brew Across America competition and to raise awareness for the important work of our chosen charity, the National Volunteer Firefighter Council.\u201d\n\n\u201cAs native Ohioans, Congresswoman Susie Lee and I had full confidence that our ErieLee Good beer would bring home this year\u2019s People\u2019s Choice Award,\u201d said Congressman Joyce. \u201cThank you to Anheuser-Busch for hosting this event in the spirit of bipartisanship.
