Last Sunday, Wilson scored 29 points for the Las Vegas Aces in an 84-71 victory over the Connecticut Suns, with her record-breaking 1,000th point coming in the final minutes of the fourth quarter.\n\n\u201cI had the honor of witnessing A\u2019ja make history last Sunday against the Connecticut Suns, where her signature fade-away mid-range jumper landed her in the history books once again,\u201d said Congresswoman Susie Lee in her remarks. \u201cA\u2019ja and the rest of her back-to-back World Championship Vegas Aces are well-known for breaking records.
