We have a responsibility to work together and deliver this common sense and bipartisan solution,\u201d wrote the members.\n\nThe members continued, \u201cThat\u2019s why we urge you to extend the enhanced premium tax credit so that savings can be secured before open enrollment season begins on November 1. We must put aside our partisan differences for working people and do what we can to stop this health care cost crisis.\u201d\n\nACA Enhanced Premium Tax Credits in Nevada:\n\nThe Washington Republicans\u2019 so-called \u201cOne Big Beautiful Bill\u201d failed to extend Affordable Care Act tax credits that help 85,000 Nevadans afford their health care\u201430,000 of whom live in Nevada\u2019s 3rd Congressional District.\n\nIf Congress allows the ACA tax credits to expire:\n\nMarketplace enrollees will pay $335 billion in higher premiums over the next ten years.\n\nFamilies who receive ACA tax credits will see an average tax increase of $4,051 in 2027.\n\nA 60-year-old couple in NV-03 earning about $80,000/year would see their premiums increase by more than $12,000 (a 178% increase).\n\nA family of four earning $64,000 would see their premiums increase by over $2,500 (a 191% increase)\n\nAs a result of these tax credits, nearly nine out of 10 Nevadans who enrolled in insurance through Nevada Health Link were eligible to receive financial support to help bring down the cost of monthly premiums.\n\nToday, Representatives Lee, McDonald Rivet, and Horsford held a press conference announcing their letter and highlighting the impact these credits have on families across America.
