The theme for this year\u2019s conference was \u201cStanding in Our Truth,\u201d and featured Congressional leaders and local leaders from our community. Topics discussed included women in politics, women\u2019s health and safety, women in business, and uplifting the next generation of leaders.\n\n\u201cAs the first Black woman to represent Ohio's 13th Congressional District in Congress, I am honored to bring women from all backgrounds together for this conference. We heard from thoughtful speakers whose knowledge and experiences helped to teach and empower women in our community to lead in every space and place where decisions are made,\u201d said Rep.
