Mark Takano (D-Calif.) released the following statement after voting against the continuing resolution, which would fund the government through January 19 but excludes several key priorities.\n\n\u201cI have repeatedly said that Congress should not leave Washington without fully funding the Children\u2019s Health Insurance Program, fully funding our Community Health Centers, providing disaster relief for California and other hard-hit states, and finding a permanent solution for the 800,000 Dreamers who are Americans in every imaginable way except on paper.\n\n\u201cThe continuing resolution introduced by Republicans today excludes many of those critical priorities. I cannot support legislation that forces nine million children and their parents, millions of patients and community health providers, and nearly a million Dreamers to live with crippling uncertainty for the foreseeable future.\n\n\u201cThis last month has been a stunning demonstration of Republican priorities.
