This bipartisan legislation supports investments in critical water resources needs across the United States and passed through the Committee on July 14, 2026, by a vote of 66-0.\n\n\u201cThe Water Resources Development Act of 2026 makes sound investments in the water systems that local Buckeye families and businesses depend on every day,\" said Congressman Taylor. \u201cRural communities like mine have been making do with aging and outdated infrastructure for far too long, and I\u2019m proud to help facilitate upgrades to our water and sewer systems that will support economic development across our region.\u201d\n\nWithin WRDA, Congressman Taylor secured over $32 million in authorizations across Ohio\u2019s Second Congressional District, including water main replacements in the Villages of New Holland and Lynchburg, sewer line replacements in Clermont County, and water infrastructure in the Village of Waverly. Once authorized through passage in the House of Representatives, supported projects will need to receive funding through Congress's annual appropriations process.
