Tokuda. \u201cCompetitions like the Congressional App Challenge stimulate creativity, innovation, and essential skillsets our young people will need for jobs of the future.\u201d\n\nThe Congressional App Challenge encourages student participation in computer science, coding, and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) fields and motivates our nation\u2019s young talent to use their creativity to make an app for desktop/PC, web, tablet, mobile, raspberry Pi or other devices. The Congressional App Challenge is open to all middle school and high school students residing in or attending a school in Hawai\u02bbi\u2019s Second Congressional District.\n\nThe winner(s) of Hawaii\u2019s 2nd Congressional District will be featured on the U.S. House of Representative\u2019s Congressional App Challenge webpage, posted on Congresswoman Tokuda's website and social media pages, and will be eligible to be on display in the U.S. Capitol during #HouseOfCode\u2014which will honor all winners from across the country.\n\nStudents should visit Tokuda\u2019s website: https://bit.ly/tokudaappchallenge to learn more about the registration and submission process.
