He has already bullied employees into retirement or fired them, and by returning the DOE back to the State, he is robbing keiki of the quality education they deserve, and starving educators of much-needed resources and funds, whittling the DOE down until it becomes inoperable. As a proud product of the public school system and the mother of two sons who attend a public school, putting billionaires over the needs of America\u2019s future is truly heartbreaking and unacceptable. Only an act of Congress can eliminate the DOE and I can assure you I will continue to push back and battle this order in the House.\"\n\n###", 1, "2026-03-30T01:40:41Z", "2026-04-07T00:15:27Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["https://tokuda.house.gov/media/press-releases/rep-tokuda-releases-statement-on-trump-gutting-the-us-dept-of-education"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 0.7881619967520237, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
