The Committee\u2019s report found that the typical Massachusetts family of four with one infant in full-time center-based child care would save $18,750 annually. The typical Massachusetts family of four with one infant and one child in full-time center-based child care would save an average of $34,500 each year.\n\n\u201cThe historic investments in the Build Back Better Act will put working families first by delivering life-changing savings for so many across the Commonwealth,\u201d said Congresswoman Trahan. \u201cAs we continue our recovery from the pandemic, we\u2019re working to make sure every family can return to work without worrying about whether they\u2019ll be able to access quality, affordable care for their children.\u201d\n\nUnder the Build Back Better Act, no family would pay more than 7 percent of their income on child care.
