He will be joined by Admiral David C. Barata. The flight will provide a critical aerial view of impacted communities and infrastructure, guiding ongoing relief and recovery efforts.\n\n\u201cHurricane Francine has left a path of destruction across many parts of Louisiana, with homes, businesses, and public infrastructure severely damaged,\u201d said Rep. Carter. \u201cOur top priority is ensuring the safety of our residents, delivering immediate relief, and beginning the rebuilding process as quickly as possible.\u201d\n\nThe aerial assessment with the U.S. Coast Guard will provide real-time insight into the scale of the damage, allowing federal, state, and local agencies to coordinate recovery efforts effectively.
