Carter, Sr. (LA-02) announced new U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) LA-02 award recipients of the Clean School Bus Program rebate competition. Four LA-02 school districts will receive a combined total of $15,280,000. These rebates will help school districts purchase clean school buses to accelerate the transition to zero emission vehicles and produce cleaner air in and around schools and communities.\n\n\u201cI\u2019m excited to announce this funding which will put more electric buses on the road and reduce carbon emissions in Louisiana,\u201d said Rep. Carter. \u201cThese awards will improve air quality for our students, school employees, and their communities. Investments like these are why I championed the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
