It is long past time the Supreme Court bench includes a Black woman Justice, and I am so grateful to President Biden for keeping his promise and selecting such an unimpeachable nominee. This is a moment for celebration.\n\n\u201cJudge KetanjiBrownJackson is the most qualified U.S. Supreme Court Justice nominee in almost two decades for a reason. She has shown resilience throughout her career and nomination process, even when faced with cruel attacks on her character. Throughout unfair characterizations, Judge Jacksonstill maintained extreme poise and composure \u2013 an experience far too many Black women face every day.\n\n\u201cJustice Jackson exemplifies the best of America.
