Carter", "C001125", "troycarter.house.gov", "troycarter", "https://troycarter.house.gov/media/press-releases", "scraper", "NEW ORLEANS, L.A. \u2013 According to a new analysis released yesterday by the House Committee on Education and Labor, the Build Back Better Act could save Louisiana families thousands of dollars in child care costs each year.\n\nThe Committee\u2019s report found that the typical Louisiana family of four with one infant in full-time center-based child care would save $7,140 each year. The typical Louisiana family of four with one infant and one child in full-time center-based child care would save $15,080 each year.\n\n\u201cThe Build Back Better Act provides the historic investments that parents and families in Louisiana need to return to work and provide their children with high-quality care,\u201d said Congressman Troy A. Carter Sr.\n\nUnder the Build Back Better Act, no family would pay more than 7 percent of their income on child care.
