Politicians here in DC refuse to implementthissolutionand every day our businesses wither on the vine and our neighbors struggle. This is not a Democrat or Republican problem or solutionit is an imperative. If we are asking everyone to disrupt their lives, we better be there to ease the pain that restrictions have caused. It is unbelievably dangerous to keep us in limbo with no legislative action. We have a bi-partisan, bi-cameral solution that will ensure:\n Our businesses have access to funds to keep their employees working\n\tThose forced on unemployment can continue to put food on their tables\n\tFunds for our state and local government to combat COVID\n\tRental assistance for those in need\n Instead of passing thissolution this week, hereare the priorities that Speaker Pelosi has had us vote on instead:\n Big Cat legislation\n\tLegalizing marijuana\n\tCommemorative coins\n As important as some of these issues may be, the next COVID relief package should be the only point of discussion. As always, I will be advocating for solutions that help ease the pain for all Americans. Please do not hesitate to reach out if our office can ever be of assistance.", 1, "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z", "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["https://vandrew.house.gov/media/press-releases/cats-cannabis-coins-and-covid"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 0.7446999661624432, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
