Derrick Van Orden (WI-03) released the following statement:\n\n\u201cOver the past two months, I have voted in support of four single-subject appropriations bills that cut spending while prioritizing the interests of Wisconsinites. Last night, I voted against the Agriculture Appropriations Act out of concern for the steep cuts that would unduly stress America\u2019s agriculture industry.\n\n\u201cWhile my funding requests to support public safety in rural communities and Wisconsin\u2019s signature dairy and cranberry industries were a step in the right direction, the bill went too far in cutting important programs for Wisconsin farmers.
