This gap in information makes it significantly harder for leaders to accurately assess the economy\u2019s trajectory, respond to emerging challenges, and plan for the future. Thanks to the Democrats\u2019 unnecessary and harmful shutdown, we may never have a complete picture of the employment situation from last month. However, the economy added jobs in September \u2013 clear proof that Republican policies are effective.
