Young                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            \n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\tNovember 13, 2013\n\t\t\t\t\n                \n\t\t\t\t  \tWASHINGTON, D.C.\u00a0 \u2013 The president today signed legislation by U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson (D-FL) and others to rename the Bay Pines Veterans Administration Medical Center in Florida after the late U.S. Rep. C.W. \"Bill\" Young. Nelson, who serves as a senior member of the Senate\u2019s Armed Services Committee, was able to fast track the bill through the Senate, where it was approved Oct. 31 following House passage the week before.\u00a0 President Obama signed the bill today. \u201cThis is a fitting way to recognize Bill Young\u2019s extraordinary legacy of public service and his unwavering support of our veterans,\u201d Nelson said today.
