Obamacare should be stopped in its entirety, but in the meantime, the very least this Administration can do is properly notify someone if the personal information they have entered into the website is under threat – something that the federal government is currently under no obligation to do. This is why I have introduced the Federal Exchange Data Breach Notification Act of 2013 -- legislation that would require the federal government to notify those whose personal information has been compromised on the federal Obamacare exchange. Until Obamacare can be fully repealed, we must do what we can to protect Americans from this disastrous and dangerous law.”
Additional Resources:
12/16/13: Black Introduces the Federal Exchange Data Breach Notification Act of 2013
Washington Free Beacon: Congresswoman: Require Feds to Disclose Security Breaches on Healthcare.gov
###
Congressman Diane Black represents Tennessee’s 6th Congressional District.
