{"database": "press", "table": "releases", "rows": [["https://web.archive.org/web/20140221182626/http://bucshon.house.gov/press-release/dr-bucshon-obamacare-enrollment-numbers", "Dr. Bucshon on ObamaCare Enrollment Numbers", "2013-11-14", "2013", "2013-11", "Republican", "House", "IN", "Larry Bucshon", "B001275", "web.archive.org", null, null, "legacy", "Wednesday afternoon, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) revealed that only 701 Hoosiers have selected healthcare plans via the failing healthcare.gov website in the first month.\u00a0 In comparison, according to state officials, more than 108,000 Hoosiers have received cancellation notices due to the law.\n\u201cAs a physician, I want every American to have access to quality, affordable health care, but this law is only creating obstacles for families, not solutions,\u201d said Bucshon. \u201cMore Hoosiers have lost coverage than have signed up for plans under ObamaCare.\u00a0 The flawed website is only a symptom of more systemic failures.\u00a0 Despite the President\u2019s promises, Hoosiers are receiving cancellation notices for plans they like, they are at risk of losing their current physician they know and trust, and many are faced with higher costs for inferior coverage. These are real stories that affect real hardworking families who are just trying to make it.\u201d\nNationally, 27,000 Americans have enrolled in federal run exchanges and 79,000 Americans have enrolled in state-based exchanges, bringing the total to only 106,185.\u00a0 An enormous failure when compared to the President\u2019s September projection of 494,620 enrollees.\nAccording to the Washington Times, \u201cmore than 4.2 million Americans have had their health insurance policies cancelled thanks to ObamaCare\u201d and \u201cthe number could triple over the next few months.\u201d (Washington Times; 11/13/13)\nHHS classifies enrollees as individuals \u201cwho have paid the first month\u2019s premium and those who have not yet paid the first month\u2019s premium.\u201d\nBucshon has asked 8th District constituents to share their healthcare stories or experiences through the webpage www.bucshon.house.gov/yourstory.", 1, "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z", "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["https://web.archive.org/web/20140221182626/http://bucshon.house.gov/press-release/dr-bucshon-obamacare-enrollment-numbers"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 1.4867549762129784, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
