I want to also thank Rep. Steven Horsford (NV-4) for his work with the Democratic membership of the Committee, which has been invaluable. I look forward to continuing this effort with my colleagues and to a productive markup in January.\u201d \u00a0  Chairman Hastings made the following remarks today at the last Natural Resources Committee hearing of the year:  \u201cFinally, it was my hope that a last markup of the year could occur this week. Regrettably, that wasn\u2019t possible for tomorrow. We\u2019ll now look ahead to early January to continue the hard work begun this year... There is also public lands and wilderness legislation that Representative Mark Amodei has been tirelessly working to advance. Due to his persistent efforts, action will occur in January. These are not easy issues. They require careful consideration and thoughtful action to ensure they are done right. That\u2019s how we\u2019ve approached our work at this Committee, and we\u2019ll continue to do so in January.\u201d  # # #", 1, "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z", "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["https://web.archive.org/web/20140301082509/http://amodei.house.gov/index.cfm?sectionid=49&itemid=390"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 1.0245409794151783, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
