Hudson. \u201cThe bipartisan passage of today\u2019s bill demonstrates that Democrats and Republicans can work together for the common good, despite an unprecedented level of partisan gridlock in Washington.\u201d\n\n\tThe Transportation Security Acquisition Reform Act introduces greater transparency and accountability for TSA spending decisions through a series of commonsense reforms.\u00a0 Specifically, it requires TSA to:\n \n\t\n\t\tDevelop and share with the public, for the first time, a strategic, multiyear technology investment plan,\n\t\n\t\tShare key information with Congress on technology acquisitions, including cost overruns, delays, or technical failures within 30 days of identifying the problem,\n\t\n\t\tEstablish principles for managing equipment in inventory to eliminate expensive storage of unusable or outdated technologies, and\n\t\n\t\tReport on its goals for contracting with small businesses.\n \n\n\t\u00a0\n\n\t*This is Rep.
