In August, Chairman Jeff Miller and Congressman Beto O\u2019Rourke joined me in meeting with Army and VA staff about this very issue at Fort Bliss. I look forward to the implementation of this program and the increased care it will provide New Mexico\u2019s veterans and veterans nationwide.\u201d\n\u00a0The New Mexico Department of Veterans\u2019 Services will receive up to $2 million, through the Rural Veterans Coordination Pilot (RVCP) program, to increase coordination of health care and benefits, increase availability of high-quality medical and mental health services, provide assistance to families, and/or outreach to veterans and families.
