They will now suffer due to a law that no one read. Previously they didn’t provide insurance to all temporary workers but had the flexibility to secure coverage for those workers who needed it.
“Now, Cornerstone Staffing Inc. is forced to provide coverage to all of their employees—whether they need it or not—which means they can’t afford to place as many individuals in needed jobs.
“This legislation passed today by the House will bring relief to companies like Cornerstone and their employees struggling with Obamacare and while according to the CBO, increasing government revenue by $400 million. This is common sense.”
H.R. 3522 passed the House by a vote of 247-167 with Rep. Terry voting yes.
# # #

      f
      t
      #
      e", 1, "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z", "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at
url
https://web.archive.org/web/20140911235056/http://leeterry.house.gov/news/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=393198
