{"database": "press", "table": "releases", "rows": [["https://web.archive.org/web/20140918210131/http://www.collins.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/press-releases?ContentRecord_id=d45f2e2e-8351-4fcc-8999-20be6e69bdda", "Release: Women Against Alzheimer's to Honor Senator Collins for Efforts to Fight Disease", "2014-09-16", "2014", "2014-09", "Republican", "House", "ME", "Susan Collins", "C001035", "web.archive.org", null, null, "legacy", "WASHINGTON, DC\u2014Women Against Alzheimer\u2019s, a national non-profit organization that advocates for policies to help fight and find a cure for the devastating disease, is scheduled to honor U.S. Senator Susan Collins tonight as the first recipient of its \u201cOut of the Shadows\u201d award.\u00a0 The award will be presented to Senator Collins in Washington, DC at an inaugural dinner of the \u201cOut of the Shadows\u201d effort to celebrate leaders in the Alzheimer\u2019s movement and to bring greater attention to Alzheimer\u2019s disease.   \u00a0   \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The dinner will also feature the filmmakers behind the film \u201cI\u2019ll Be Me,\u201d a documentary about country music legend Glen Campbell and his struggle with Alzheimer\u2019s disease.\u00a0 Glen Campbell\u2019s story was featured during a Senate Special Committee on Aging Committee hearing last year on Alzheimer\u2019s disease.\u00a0 Senator Collins serves as Ranking Member of that Committee and is Co-Chair of the Congressional Alzheimer\u2019s Task Force. Fighting Alzheimer\u2019s disease is among her top priorities in the United States Senate.   \u00a0   \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Senator Collins said, \u201cI am extremely proud to be the first recipient of the Women Against Alzheimer\u2019s \u2018Out of the Shadows\u2019 award.
