Releasing money to the Iranians while they continue to produce material that could be used for a weapon is a bad deal. Also, it is absolutely imperative that the Iranians release Pastor Abedini and the other two Americans they are holding. The Iranian regime needs to be taught that it must come to the table with serious actions to end its nuclear program, or the West will walk away, isolate, and punish their threatening behavior. This extension will not be helpful to President Obama’s legacy.”
###", 1, "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z", "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at
url
https://web.archive.org/web/20141206004754/http://www.risch.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/pressreleases?ID=72e29197-06cf-49d6-bfe6-ef54d78716a9
