First place winner Dominique Palucis\u2019 work, titled \" Genuine,\" will be displayed in the main hallway between the Cannon House Office Building and the U.S. Capitol for the upcoming year.\n\n\"Thank you to everyone who participated in this year\u2019s Congressional Art Competition,\" said Rep. Westerman. \"I was thoroughly impressed with the remarkable talent of our Fourth District students and their dedication to honing their creative skills. All the applicants should be very proud of their accomplishments and continue to pursue their passion for art. Miss Palucis\u2019 work will represent the Fourth District well as Members of Congress, staff, and visitors walk to and from the U.S. Capitol.\u201d\n\nEach spring, a nationwide high school visual art competition is sponsored by members of the U.S. House of Representatives.
