Earl L. \u201cBuddy\u201d Carter (R-GA), Chris Smith (R-NJ) and 35 House Republicans in a letter calling on the companies to protect the health and safety of women and unborn children.\n\nIn the letter, the members write: \u201cWe are deeply disappointed by your organization\u2019s announcement that it has applied to become certified to dispense the chemical abortion drug mifepristone.
