Carper Water Resources Development Act, which passed the Senate this week and will soon be signed into law:\n\n\u201cFollowing the devastating impact of Hurricane Helene across East Tennessee, rebuilding our communities and reassessing flood risk is extremely important across the entire state,\u201d said Senator Blackburn. \u201cThis year\u2019s Water Resources Development Act will allow the dredging and maintenance of Pidgeon Harbor in Memphis, enabling the continued growth of the industrial area and supporting the city as the Logistics Hub of America.
