This resolution honors the contributions of country music to the story and history of the U.S. and encourages the American people to observe \u201cNational Country Music Month\u201d with appropriate ceremonies and activities.\n\n\u201cTennessee is the heart of country music, from its birthplace in Bristol to the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville,\u201d said Senator Blackburn. \u201cThis National Country Music Month, we honor the legendary Dolly Parton, whose iconic voice, songwriting, and showmanship inspired generations of performers and fans.
