The program was created under Blunt's bipartisan Honoring\r\nInvestments in Recruiting and Employing American Military Veterans (HIRE Vets)\r\nAct, which established a tiered recognition program within DOL to award\r\nemployers that make veterans hiring, retention, and career development a\r\npriority. Veterans have experience and skills that make them an ideal\r\ncandidate for employers, but finding the right opportunity can be challenging\r\nas they transition from active duty to civilian life, said Blunt. The goal of\r\nthis program is to highlight companies that provide benefits to help veterans\r\nsucceed and recognize the advantages their military service brings to the\r\nworkplace. As we prepare to mark Veterans Day, I'll continue supporting\r\nlegislation and programs, like HIRE Vets, that help us keep our promises to\r\nthose who have served. Missouri recipients of the 2020 HIRE Vets Medallion Program\r\nAward include: C2C LLC, Chesterfield, Mo.;Connectria LLC, St. Louis, Mo.;Arnold Defense & Electronics LLC, Arnold, Mo.;AME Construction LLC, Cottleville, Mo.;Veterans of Foreign Wars, Kansas City, Mo.;On Target Solutions Inc.; Belton, Mo.; andPod-Grown LLC, Wentzville, Mo.
