The facts in this case\r\nclearly do not support these unfair,\r\nunwarranted sanctions. The University\r\nof Missouri did the right thing by self-reporting the actions of the tutor and\r\na small number of players. The NCAA is punishing\r\ncurrent players for actions that occurred years\r\nago and they had nothing to do with.\r\nI will continue to support Chancellor Cartwright, Athletic Director Jim Sterk, and UM System President\r\nMun Choi as they press for badly-needed reforms to the NCAA's enforcement\r\nprocess. I hope Mizzou fans will join me in\r\nexpressing our pride in all of the athletes who work hard every day to be the\r\nbest at what they do.
