This federal investment will be matched with $1 million in local funds and is expected to create 165 jobs and generate $41 million in private investment, according to grantee estimates.\n\n\u201cInvesting in flood infrastructure is crucial for the safety and prosperity of Atlantic City\u2019s businesses and residents,\u201d Booker said. \u201cI\u2019m proud to bring home federal resources to this worthy project that will help protect the city against natural disasters.
