However, in the interim, extending these tax provisions is just plain commonsense. By doing so, we prevent tax increases on hardworking Arkansans, as well as small businesses and farmers who are our state\u2019s economic engine.\u201d\r\nAmong the deductions and credits extended are:\r\n \r\nThe local and state sales tax deduction;\r\nMultiple mortgage tax credits;\r\nSchool teacher expenses deduction;\r\nEmployer wage credit for activated military reservists;\r\nSmall business expensing limit;\r\nFour different depreciation credits;\r\nNumerous energy efficiency credits including the credit for renewable energy producing facilities (including wind);\r\nThree charitable tax incentives to encourage private acts of charity and compassion;\r\nFirst-year deduction of 50 percent for the purchase of new capital assets, including agricultural equipment.", 1, "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z", "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["https://www.boozman.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/press-releases?ContentRecord_id=025055d0-42ff-4988-b20a-c8af582894a1"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 1.5391339547932148, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
