Mooty\u2019s confirmation vote received the most bipartisan support of any judicial nominee so far in the 119th Congress.\n\nSenators Britt and Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.), Hal Mooty, and Mooty\u2019s family during a Senate Judiciary Committee nominations hearing on September 3, 2025.\n\n\u201cI was deeply proud to vote to confirm Montgomery, Alabama, native Hal Mooty for a federal judgeship.
