Sherrod Brown (D-OH) visited Circle Health Services, a health insurance enrollment site in Cleveland, to alert Ohioans about ways they can enroll in a new healthcare plan or update their current coverage. The deadline for Ohioans to sign up for coverage or change their plan is Friday, December 15th.\r\nOhioans can enroll or change their healthcare plan in a variety of ways:\r\n\r\n \r\nBy Phone: Call the Marketplace Call Center at 1-800-318-2596 with questions or to enroll over the phone.\r\n \r\n \r\nIn-Person: Visit\u00a0LocalHelp.HealthCare.gov\u00a0or call the Marketplace Call Center at 1-800-318-2596 to obtain a list of assisters in northeast Ohio who are trained and certified to help individuals enroll in person.\r\n \r\n\u201cOf course we still have a lot to do to improve our healthcare system, and I\u2019m ready to work with folks on both sides of the aisle to lower premiums and prescription drug costs,\u201d said Brown. \u201cBut free assistance sites like this one can help many Ohioans find cheaper coverage, right now, during open enrollment.\u201d\r\nSince 2013, more than 900,000 Ohioans have obtained insurance coverage through the health law \u2014 many for the first time.
