If anything, the president only dug\r\nhimself further into a hole by putting forth an unworkable proposal that will\r\namount to nothing more than another broken promise.\r\n\r\n\r\nFollowing the president's announcement, both state insurance\r\ncommissioners and insurers themselves rightfully expressed concerns about the\r\nfeasibility of implementing the proposed change, the uncertainty it would\r\ncreate, and its effectiveness at addressing the underlying problems that are\r\ncausing cancellation notices to be sent and premiums to skyrocket.
