During her remarks, Senator Capito highlighted her continued advocacy for small businesses in West Virginia and needed tax relief she helped secured through the Working Families Tax Cuts Act.\n\n\u201cSmall businesses are essential to our local economies and workforce across West Virginia. Scott Moreland to receive updates and learn more about the facility. The Army CID\u2019s Biometric Operations Department is DOW\u2019s primary authoritative biometric repository, providing the department with critical near real-time biometric information key to our national security.\n\n\u201cThe work done at the Army CID\u2019s Biometric Operations Department is essential to the security of our country and the safety of our active-duty military. I appreciate the chance to meet with Director Moreland, who is a West Virginia native, and receive an update on the real-time work done in Clarksburg to keep our nation safe.
