In his letter to the EPA, Casey asked the agency to address concerns raised by his constituents and conduct the appropriate oversight should the proposal fall within the federal government\u2019s jurisdiction.\r\n\u201cI will continue to monitor this issue closely and urge the EPA and state agencies to be responsive to concerns raised by residents,\u201d Senator Casey said. \u201cIt\u2019s critical that EPA continue to examine this issue and conduct any appropriate oversight of the landfill consistent with the agency\u2019s jurisdiction.\u201d\r\nThe full response to Senator Casey is attached.
